Class I malocclusion - when the molars and canines are in their anatomically correct, yet crowded or rotated positions

Class II malocclusion - when the upper teeth and jaw are located in an anterior position relative to the lower teeth and jaw

Phase I/ Phase II treatment- when a discrepancy exists in a child in their growing years, Phase I treatment can be initiated to take advantage of growth modification techniques that can better situate the child’s teeth and jaws for their later years. "Phase II," a detailing phase is considered once growth is complete.
