Dr. Arthur T. Kamisugi

B.S., D.D.S., M.S.D.

Dr. Art graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Indiana University in 1967. He then earned his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from Indiana University in 1970, and his M.S.D. (Masters in the Science of Dentistry) in 1972. He returned to Hawaii to open his practice that same year and has been in private practice in Honolulu ever since. Dr. Art is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontists, and is also affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Hawaii Dental Association, Honolulu County Dental Society, and the Hawaii Society of Orthodontists. He has been voted as one of "Hawaii's Best Orthodontists" by Honolulu Magazine's Best Dentists issue every year since it's conception. He is also an avid waterman and regularly enjoys surfing, fishing and open ocean yacht racing.

Dr. Malia K. Kamisugi

D.D.S., M.S.D.

Dr. Malia attended the University of California, Irvine and the University of Hawaii, Manoa. She received her D.D.S., with honors, from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1998, and continued at UOP to obtain her M.S.D. and orthodontic certification in 2000, when she moved back to Hawaii and opened her practice. Dr. Malia is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontists, as well as affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Hawaii Dental Association, Honolulu County Dental Society (past-president), and the Hawaii Society of Orthodontists (past-president). She is also a board member and past-president of the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation. Dr. Malia has been voted as one of "Hawaii's Best Orthodontists" in Honolulu Magazine's Best Dentists issue every year since it's inception. Like her father, Arthur, Malia enjoys water sports and she is a competitive outrigger and kayak paddler, as well as a big wave surfer and beach volleyball enthusiast.
